Key Responsibilities

The Children's Haematologist will be responsible for providing care to children and young people with haematological disorders, including leukaemia and those undergoing stem cell transplantation or receiving advanced cellular therapies.

They will also participate in the day-to-day care of inpatients, share responsibility for general anaesthetic lists, and carry out haematological procedures if trained.

In addition, they will contribute to the development of the department's research program, participate in educational activities, and supervise junior medical staff.
