Job Title: Healthcare Management Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Healthcare Management Trainee. In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Practice Manager to learn the skills and knowledge required to manage a primary care environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Practice Manager in the day-to-day management of the practice, including administrative tasks and non-clinical management of staff.
  • Compile and communicate practice rotas to ensure smooth operations.
  • Be aware of the practice's contractual responsibilities and assist in the quality provision of services.
  • Search for data and report performance on National, Direct, and Local enhanced services.
  • Be aware of the practice's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take the lead in searching for data and reporting performance.
  • Assist the practice manager in maximizing performance under the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF).
  • Provide support and training for current and new staff, including IT and data quality guidelines.
  • Act as a contact for staff in relation to IT issues and liaise with GMSS IT support department to resolve persistent hardware and software issues.
Requirements:
  • English and maths qualifications.
  • Experience of working with computers.
