About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join our team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in property law with a respected law firm known for delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.
  • Handle new client instructions, conduct due diligence, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Act as a main point of contact for clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties.
  • Draft legal correspondence and documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and SDLT returns.
  • Conduct essential property searches and advise clients on findings.
  • Oversee post-completion tasks, such as title registration and Stamp Duty payments.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in conveyancing or property law.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy when preparing legal documents.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
