Consultant Endocrinologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Endocrinologist to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, osteoporosis, and metabolic bone diseases.
• Provide specialized care for patients with chronic conditions like Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including the management of complications and associated conditions.
• Interpret results from various tests, such as blood glucose monitoring, hormone level testing, thyroid function tests, and DEXA scans.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include medication management, lifestyle advice, insulin therapy, and other interventions.
• Provide consultative services to other physicians or healthcare professionals and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Valid GMC registration
• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum of 3-6 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
• MRCP and on the Specialist Register
