About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension System Analyst to join our team at Morris Sinclair Recruitment Ltd. As a Pension System Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on pension-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pension Subject Matter Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise on pension-related issues, including regulatory changes and requirements.
  • Operational Knowledge Support: Offer operational knowledge and support to the project team, including Business Analysts, Testers, and Developers, to determine, implement, and test requirements.
  • Business Requirements: Produce business requirements that meet the needs of our varied client base, including pension providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Systems Training: Provide training to external pension providers and internal stakeholders on pension systems and processes.
  • Business Process Mapping: Support the development of business process maps to ensure efficient and effective pension-related processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist with issue resolution and client support, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
  • Pension and System Knowledge: Ensure user guides, process documents, and training materials are up to date, adding to and building up a knowledge repository.
  • System Testing: Assist with system testing and contribute to the product roadmap, ensuring that pension-related systems meet business needs.
  • Customer Requirements: Work with customers to understand their requirements and help translate them into formal software change documents.
  • Functional Requirements: Work with Product Owners and Project Managers to formalize functional requirements, ensuring that pension-related systems meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Calm and Positive Under Pressure: Remain calm and positive under pressure, taking the lead in challenging situations.

  • Enthusiastic and Flexible: Show an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Logical Problem-Solving: Demonstrate logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Pension Experience: Have at least 5 years of Defined Contribution pension experience, ideally in a SIPP/SASS environment.
  • Change Environment: Have experience working within a change environment, with the ability to adapt to new situations and challenges.
Location

This role is flexible, with the ability to visit the Portsmouth office once a week. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
