Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the in-house Occupational Health Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital, supporting the health and wellbeing of staff members. We are seeking a registered nurse with an interest in occupational health and wellbeing to undertake routine activities.

The post holder will be responsible for pre-placement assessments, venepuncture, vaccinations, blood-borne virus exposure management, contact tracing, and health surveillance, including spirometry. Excellent communication skills, IT proficiency, and a flexible approach are essential for managing a varied workload.

Main Duties
  • Conduct pre-placement assessments and other occupational health activities as required
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance initiatives
