About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Civil and Structural Engineer to join our Gas and Hydrogen Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical governance, client service development, and mentoring of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with a wide range of disciplines within the Gas Team, including gas network operators, design consultancies, and construction contractors.
  • Work with clients to deliver high-quality work, ensuring that site visits, project reports/drawings, and other forms of documentation meet the high standards expected by our clients.
  • Plan and deliver activities/work for key clients, including annual and monthly reviews.
  • Provide clear recommendations on project management improvement, delivery of consultancy, and other key areas.
  • Deliver ad-hoc presentations and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Chartered Engineering status or working towards.
  • Experience and ability to work with British Standards and Highway Standards relating to civil engineering and construction aspects of the UK onshore gas industry.
  • Ability to travel as project commitments dictate.
