About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team at Jones Recruitment Ltd. As a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the accounts team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.

Your key responsibilities will include undertaking daily banking functions, preparing cheques, and assisting with the annual audit process. You will also play a key role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in accounts, excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. AAT Level 3 or 4, Semi Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience are essential, along with experience of working within a busy accounts team and using XERO accounting software.

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive salary of £25,500-£31,000 per annum, plus benefits including company pension, free parking, and on-site parking.
