Civil CAD Technician Job Description
RGB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civil CAD Technician to join a highly regarded Civil and Structural Engineering practice in the South West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing detailed infrastructure drawings and models using cutting-edge BIM software such as Civils 3d and microdrainage.
- Liaising with clients and contractors to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Attending design team meetings to contribute to the development of innovative infrastructure solutions.
- Learning and utilizing industry-leading software to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Working closely with Senior Engineers to deliver high-quality projects and mentoring junior members of staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent construction knowledge and experience in drainage design, highway design, and flood risk assessments.
- Proven expertise in AutoCAD and proficiency in other industry-standard software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
