We are seeking an experienced Development Engineer to join our team in Chester, offering a comprehensive salary package of £55,000 - £60,000 plus a £6,000 car allowance and 26 days holiday.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with hands-on experience in residential projects, including knowledge of drainage, sewage, and section 278 agreements. This role involves creating comprehensive land assessment packs to support viability evaluations, collaborating closely with the land department, coordinating surveyors, preparing pre-planning applications, and tracking associated fees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to take on a vital role within a growing housebuilder offering autonomy, variety, and long-term progression. The successful candidate will have:

  • A background in Design or Civil Engineering
  • Hands-on experience in residential projects for a housebuilder, developer, or consultancy
  • Good knowledge of roads, sewers, and highways
  • AutoCAD experience
  • A full UK driver's license
