About the Role

This Senior Valuation Specialist will be responsible for leading the team in ensuring the fair valuation of the Bank's positions and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires a strong understanding of valuation methodologies, structured credit, and illiquid position valuations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team to develop and implement valuation methodologies that align with IFRS and Group financial accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure justifiable fair valuation assessments.
  • Provide valuation support, including advice on bespoke transactions and deal pipelines.
  • Support the development of a robust control environment and adherence to group financial control and risk policies.
  • Embed high ethical standards across the Group.
  • Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a quantitative subject.
  • 15+ years of valuations experience in private equity, private credit, loans, and venture capital.
  • In-depth knowledge of structured credit and illiquid position valuations.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and delivering high-quality output.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated team management skills.
