We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer - Business Support to join our team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
About the RoleThe Chief Operating Officer - Business Support will provide operational support to the COO Team, ensuring the effective operation of the COO Office. This will involve providing support across the full range of COO Team responsibilities, including managing the COO business effectively, scheduling meetings and appointments, and assisting with the planning of conferences and workshops.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational support to the COO Team, ensuring the effective operation of the COO Office.
- Manage the COO business effectively, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings and appointments.
- Assist with the planning of conferences and workshops as needed.
- Support the COO Team with the development and implementation of business strategies and plans.
- Provide administrative support to the COO Team, including preparing reports and presentations.
- Significant experience within a similar setting, such as healthcare, law enforcement, or social services.
- Experience of delivering training courses.
- Awareness of equality and diversity principles.
- Ability to develop policies and procedures.
- Sound IT skills and ability to carry out trend analysis.
