**About the Role**

Care in Mind is a residential service provider for young people aged 16-30 with mental health needs. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Heaton, Bolton.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people who have mental health needs and be able to provide a high level of support to assist with difficulties they may have from self-harming, behaviour, and emotional difficulties.

You will work collaboratively with our clinical team to develop individualised care plans, providing support with daily living tasks, education, and social activities. You will also maintain accurate online records and contribute to the upkeep and tidiness of the home.

The successful candidate will be patient, calm, and resilient, with good written and verbal communication skills. A clean driving license and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Care or equivalent would be desirable but not essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £23,400-£25,000 (dependent on experience) and excellent benefits, including 30 days holiday, an additional day off for your birthday, and paid training and induction. Our homes are a hub of activity and energy where our staff enjoy coming to work.

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience working with young people who have mental health needs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work shift patterns including weekends and bank holidays
