We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Specialist Additional Learning Needs Lead Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering healthy living programmes for adults with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement healthy living programmes for adults with learning disabilities, in partnership with local organisations and community groups.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure the effective delivery of programmes, including planning, coordination, and evaluation.
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure the programmes meet the needs of the community.
  • Contribute to the development of our organisation's policies and procedures, ensuring they are inclusive and effective.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in working with adults with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, communities, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings, bank holidays, and weekends.
  • Experience of working in a community setting, with a strong understanding of community development principles.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices, with the ability to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals with learning disabilities.
