Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker at ROC Northwest. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people with complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Encouraging residents to participate in activities and hobbies that promote their interests and skills
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to residents, helping them to develop coping strategies and manage challenging behaviors
  • Collaborating with other members of the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A manual UK driving license (automatic licenses are not accepted)
  • The ability to work long day shifts, including sleep-ins, on a rotating basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external agencies
  • A commitment to providing person-centered care and support, with a focus on promoting the rights and dignity of our residents
