Job Description

As an Automotive Repair Specialist at Rubber Duck Cars, you will be working with a team of experienced technicians to diagnose and repair faults in luxury vehicles. Your expertise in using modern diagnostic equipment and your ability to work to the highest quality standards will be essential in delivering exceptional results.

You will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults using a systematic approach and advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Liaising with customers to identify and understand their problems
  • Ensuring full understanding of the latest technology introduced on the vehicle range
  • Carrying out diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards
  • Liaising with colleagues and supervisors as needed
  • Checking the level and quality of work through road-testing vehicles after work has been carried out

Requirements:

  • The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment
  • The capability of working to the highest quality standards
  • Great communication skills
  • A full UK driving license
  • Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable, but not essential
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent
  • VOSA-approved MOT testers an advantage but not essential
