Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, controlling, managing, and ensuring effective administration of the commercial and financial aspects of all contracts while ensuring complete compliance with the contract outlines.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the Construction industry for a Housing contractor, ideally on new build housing schemes. They will have sound knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and develop commercial processes and procedures to maximize returns in terms of profit.
  2. Final Accounts management including variations, claims, and disputes.
  3. Financial forecasting for use in setting targets and managing the business.
  4. Monitoring resources and costs to ensure that the projects meet agreed targets.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of working within the Construction industry for a Housing contractor, ideally on new build housing schemes.
  2. Sound knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of Contract.
