Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at The Silverdale Primary Academy. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of our pupils, providing cover for the teacher when necessary, and contributing to the overall success of our academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and providing individualized support to pupils
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of learning activities and resources
  • Help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, teachers, and other staff members

Requirements:

  • Patience, calmness, and an enthusiastic approach to learning
  • Confidence in running stimulating, fun, and educational activities with children
  • Ability to build and encourage confidence in children, allowing them to lead their own learning when appropriate
