**Job Summary**

SDExcel Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Trainee Despatch Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in handling products that go through the despatch process efficiently and accurately.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Unpacking orders and receipting goods
  • Responsible for picking and packing orders to despatch to customers
  • Utilising hand held scanners for stock checks and stock control
  • General Warehouse duties such as moving of items in warehouse or from deliveries being unloaded, some lifting (not heavy) and use of trolleys for unloading goods required
  • Some simple assembly work in workshop
  • Quality Assurance
  • Helping to keep work areas tidy and free from obstruction
  • Use of IT to process despatches

**Requirements**

  • Some work experience ideal particularly in Warehouse/workshop or despatch being an advantage but not essential as for a trainee full training can be offered
  • IT skills, enthusiasm to learn, real team spirit and attention to detail essential

**Working Hours**

Monday - Thursday 7:30am- 4:30pm or 9.00am/9.30am - 4:30pm

**Salary**

Up to £24,000.00 per year negotiable depending on experience and hours worked
