Job Title: Unit Care Manager
">Care Home Opportunity">Our client, a respected care provider in the UK, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Unit Care Manager to join their well-established care home in Southport. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
About the Role">The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the delivery of high-quality nursing and mental health care. You will assess the needs of residents and implement people-centred care plans that make a real difference to their day-to-day lives.
">- You will plan rotas, recruit, train, and mentor staff.
- Build strong relationships with local regulators and social services.
- Have the freedom and autonomy to take your unit from strength to strength.
To join as a Unit Care Manager, you must be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with a current NMC registration. Experience providing care for older people and those with dementia is essential, as is a successful track record of well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
">- Knowledge of recent clinical practices.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
- A natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
