Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking on-site maintenance and troubleshooting, starting up and commissioning new combustion systems, preparing RAMs and PLCs, conducting plant surveys, training client staff, identifying aftermarket opportunities, and working with combustion products and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Undertake on-site maintenance and troubleshooting of combustion systems
  2. Start up and commission new combustion systems
  3. Prepare RAMs and PLCs for client sites
  4. Conduct plant surveys to identify areas for improvement
  5. Train client staff on combustion systems and equipment
  6. Identify aftermarket opportunities for combustion products and systems
  7. Work with combustion products and systems, including burners, thermal oxidizers, flare systems, and pollution control equipment

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a consummate professional with experience in a similar environment, allied to the desire and ability to forge a career within a market-leading organisation. Key requirements include:

  1. Good multi-skilled mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge
  2. Understanding of P&IDs and PLCs
  3. Combustion knowledge and/or PetroChem/oil & gas background advantageous
  4. Strong background in a mechanical, electrical, or chemical field
  5. Comfortable with considerable time working abroad, up to 200 nights per annum
  6. Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and offshore
  7. Well-presented with excellent customer-facing skills
