Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Occupational Therapy team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing visionary professional and clinical leadership to a diverse team of Occupational Therapists, apprentices, and Therapy Assistants.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, where you will have the chance to develop and implement new strategies to improve the delivery of occupational therapy services. You will work closely with our Clinical Leads for Nursing, Drs, Physiotherapy, and Speech and Language Therapy, as well as our operational Service Managers for our localities across Hampshire, Southampton, and Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary professional and clinical leadership to the Occupational Therapy team
  • Work collaboratively with other clinical leads and service managers to develop and implement new strategies
  • Strengthen existing partnerships and develop new ones with local authorities, acute service providers, and community and voluntary sector organisations
  • Identify priorities for the service from national/international guidance and from the RCOT
  • Provide highly-specialist clinical Occupational Therapy as agreed within your overall job plan
