Neurodiagnostic Technologist

GRANDVIEW MEDICAL CENTER is a 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility, located in Birmingham, AL.

We are seeking an experienced EEG Tech PRN to join our team. This role will work with patients undergoing neurodiagnostic tests, conducting and analyzing complex electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction velocity (NCV), or other neurodiagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' comfort, blood pressure, and heart rate during tests
• Prepare reports of diagnostic procedures for interpretation by a physician
• Adjust equipment and controls according to physicians' orders or established protocol
• Obtain and record patient identification, medical history, and test results

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of previous experience required
• Knowledge of general anatomy and physiology
• Medical terminology and general computer skills
