Job Overview

Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class One Driver to join our team. As a Tramping Logistics Professional, you will be responsible for transporting agricultural and plant machinery around the UK and Europe using premium trailers and high-spec tractor units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting agricultural and plant machinery around the UK and Europe
  • Loading and restraining products
  • Completing product inspections at collection and delivery
  • Handling security checks, customs, and border paperwork

Requirements

  • HGV Class One licence
  • At least 2 years' experience as an HGV Class One Driver
  • Current competency in agricultural and plant machinery transportation
  • Current competency in UK-EU customs formalities, paperwork, permits, and border security
  • Current competency in convoi exceptionnel
  • In-date CPC and Digi Tacho
  • No more than 6 points, no IN, DD, or DR penalty codes
  • A good level of physical fitness

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday tramping position
  • Initially UK-based, with the opportunity to work in Europe
  • 4 nights out and occasional weekend away

Pay and Allowances

  • Perm OTE: Up to £54,000
  • Ongoing Agency Rate: £182.50 per day PAYE
  • Allowances and pay rates to cover nights out and weekend work
