We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospital Porter to join our team at Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital. As a Hospital Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital facilities, providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of waste streams (clinical, domestic, recycling, special).
  • Security checks (early morning opening, evening lockdown, and ad hoc).
  • Controlling access to the basement car park.
  • Managing of patient transfers between departments.
  • Managing of both internal and external post (including recording of postal use by on-site third parties).
  • Maintain the external environment to a high standard (including the basement car park).
  • Moving furniture, equipment, medical gases to departments.

Working with Our Team

You will work closely with our Head Porter and Facilities Manager to ensure that our third-party facilities providers are delivering to the agreed levels of service. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and support, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and commitment to excellence.
