About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Babcock LGE in Rosyth. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering large-scale process-engineering themed projects for our key markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with other disciplines to ensure efficient working practices and achieve project objectives.
  • Set up and maintain project administration, including the application of the Project Management/Risk Plan.
  • Record and collect progress of tasks/activities, and keep the project plan updated.
  • Submit project deliverables on schedule and record mitigating circumstances in the event of disruption or delay.
  • Prepare technical specifications and information to enable timely placement of Purchase Orders.
  • Target expediting and liaison of key suppliers to ensure full visibility of supplier-related issues.
  • Report regularly to the project manager on progress, potential problems, and solutions.
Requirements
  • Technical competence for the above responsibilities.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead tasks and work to tight timescales.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Security Clearance.
