Job Title: Plumbing Remedial Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Remedial Plumbing Engineer to join our team at SMS Environmental. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality remedial plumbing tasks across various regional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality remedial plumbing tasks, including water testing and control work, tank disinfections, and problem-solving at site level.
  • Partner with Water Treatment Engineers to undertake tank disinfections and ensure effective problem resolution.
  • Identify and report non-compliances at client premises and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support and assist in the development of new plumbers and colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating qualification.
  • Remedial plumbing experience, either from domestic or commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a team or as a lone worker.
  • IT skills, with ability to use iPad technology with accuracy.
  • Full UK, Manual, Driving licence.
