Mental Health Nurse Nights Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our multidisciplinary team in a Specialist Care Home located in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health care, particularly with challenging behaviours, and a compassionate, person-centred approach to care.

• Assess residents' physical, psychological, and social needs, considering lifestyle, gender, and background to develop tailored care plans.
  
• Work with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and involve patients and families to create effective care strategies.
  
• Conduct daily assessments of service users to promote their physical and mental well-being and ensure a supportive environment.
  
• Lead and supervise the multi-disciplinary team, including training, performance evaluation, and orientation of new staff.

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Registered General Nurse (RGN).
  
• Experience in mental health care, particularly with challenging behaviours.
