Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant for KS2 Students

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to join our team at a primary school in Winchmore Hill, Enfield. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children in the classroom, providing guidance with numeracy and literacy activities, and assisting children with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children in the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with numeracy and literacy activities, helping children to develop their skills and confidence
  • Provide support to children with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Support children with EAL, helping them to develop their language skills and integrate into the classroom
  • Manage children's behavior effectively, promoting good behavior and discipline
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Experience working with children with SEN and EAL
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive school environment
