**Cloud-Based Java Specialist**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud-Based Java Specialist to join our Engineering team. As a specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions using Java 11+ in a cloud-based environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop reusable code and modules across our backend services.
  • Ensure scalability, sustainability, and architectural soundness of our solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern secure coding standards (OWASP).
  • Collaborate with the team to implement a culture of Build, Run, Own.
  • Deliver software features while seeking guidance from senior engineers when necessary.
  • Participate in technical refinement and design sessions.
  • Contribute to code reviews and pair programming.
  • Maintain documentation and communicate progress to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues.
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies and raise retrospective actions.
  • Clean up technical debt proactively.
  • Adhere to ISO27001 Information Security Management System policies and procedures.

**Requirements**

  • Experience with Java 11+ development.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot Framework.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and microservices.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming.
  • Understanding of core computer science principles and concepts (OOP, memory management).
  • Familiarity with cloud databases (MariaDB, Redis, Cassandra, etc).
  • Prior experience as a Cloud-Based Java Specialist or similar role.
