**Job Overview**

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Assistant Headteacher at a Primary school in Swaffham. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a high-performing school within a dynamic Multi Academy Trust.

The successful candidate will have experience in school leadership (middle or senior leadership) and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the school's Behaviour and Pastoral Care policy, collaborating with teachers and other stakeholders to improve student outcomes and wellbeing.

The school offers a supportive governing body and dedicated staff, providing a stimulating and challenging environment for staff and students alike. The successful candidate will work closely with the Trust to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellence in teaching and learning.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement the school's Behaviour and Pastoral Care policy
  • Collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders to improve student outcomes and wellbeing
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the school, ensuring that all aspects of education meet the highest standards
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and parents
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in middle or senior leadership roles
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
