Job Description
Turner & Townsend Group is a leading provider of cost management and project delivery services. We are currently seeking a skilled Cost Assurance Specialist to join our team in the UK Infrastructure business.

The successful candidate will work within our specialist Cost Assurance team, reviewing and scrutinizing actual incurred costs and driving supply chain improvement and efficiency for major programmes and projects. Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing construction contractor systems, controls, and processes to provide a view on their ways of working.
  • Analyzing and understanding complex construction contracts.
  • Planning financial audits by understanding clients' objectives and risk areas.
  • Performing testing of data and information using smart techniques and tools.
  • Fostering good quality working relationships with clients and those being reviewed.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience or a sound understanding of the following skills and qualifications:
  • Data analysis – ability to review and draw insights from large quantities of data.
  • Time management – working in a team environment and handling a variable workload.
  • Assessment of accuracy and entitlement to costs.
  • Report writing – communicating complex messages succinctly.
  • Construction industry technical matters – e.g., disallowed cost areas, calculation of pain/gain amounts.
  • Contract Management – NEC3 (Option C, E) preferred.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
