Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Ophthalmic Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 nurse to develop their skills and transition into a Band 6 role, providing advanced eye care services to patients.

The successful candidate will have experience in a clinical nursing environment, preferably with exposure to ophthalmology or surgical settings. A relevant post-registration course or willingness to undertake further education and training in ophthalmology is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake specialized training in ophthalmic procedures, diagnostics, and treatments.
  • Lead and manage patient care autonomously, including performing comprehensive eye assessments.
  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Salary: £43,141 - £70,718 per annum
