About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain valuable experience working with children with complex mental health needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside therapists and psychologists to provide support and care to our students.

You will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with complex learning disabilities, including those with adverse childhood experiences and trauma. Your role will involve working closely with the therapy team to develop and implement personalized plans to support student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with complex learning disabilities
  • Work closely with the therapy team to develop and implement personalized plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Support students with daily living skills and personal care
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure student progress
Requirements

We are looking for a Psychology Graduate with a passion for working with children and young people. You will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to work effectively with students with complex needs.

Experience in a similar role would be desirable, but not essential. Graduates in a similar field will also be considered (e.g. Criminology, Education). The role is full-time and long-term, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
