Role Overview

This position involves delivering specialist nursing care to patients treated for breast cancer, with a focus on open-access follow-up and supporting patients throughout their journey. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to drive change and influence current practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • To develop and implement the open-access follow-up strategy for patients treated for breast cancer, working collaboratively with the advanced nurse practitioner and multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide clinical leadership and key worker support for patients diagnosed with breast cancer, ensuring personalized care consistent with the Macmillan Right by You Principles.
  • Deliver treatment summaries and health and well-being interventions to all patients.
