Care Assistant Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced care assistant to join our team. As a care assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our client to maintain her independence and quality of life.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with individuals with physical disabilities or additional needs. You must also be able to work independently, using your initiative and judgment to ensure the client's needs are met.

You must be able to communicate effectively with the client, their family members, and other healthcare professionals. A strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support is essential.

You will need to be able to assist with personal care and support tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as preparing nutritious meals and snacks.

You will also be responsible for reminding the client to take their medication as prescribed, helping with mobility and transfers, and providing companionship and emotional support.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong background in care and support, with experience working with individuals with physical disabilities or additional needs.

They must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
