Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Blood Production Officer. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including processing and quality control, to ensure the highest standards of blood components and products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Issue blood donations to hospitals, working closely with your supervisor and team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support and train less experienced staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Perform precise and repetitive tasks, such as manipulating equipment and blood samples, to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Handle blood bags and equipment with care and attention to detail.
  • Work variable hours, including weekends and bank holidays, as per the roster and shift agreement.
  • Manually handle equipment weighing up to 13 kgs, with or without mechanical aids, with proper training.
About You

We're looking for someone with experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or laboratory environment, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area or extensive experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment is also desirable.
