Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Design Manager to lead our team of talented designers and engineers in a bespoke design and manufacturing business. As a Technical Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of new products, managing projects from concept to delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of new products, ensuring they meet customer requirements and are manufactured efficiently
  • Manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to drive business growth and improve processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve design and manufacturing processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Design Manager in a bespoke design and manufacturing business
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing principles
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
