Job Title: HGV Chargehand Technician

Biffa Waste Services Limited is seeking a skilled HGV Chargehand Technician to join their team at the Rutland Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment
  • Carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections
  • Meet Biffa's operator's licence commitments

Requirements:

  • Fully skilled having achieved a full level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification/City and Guilds Qualification/NVQ Qualification
  • Technician level
  • Minimum of a car/van driving licence
  • HGV licence desirable
  • IRTEC Qualification desirable
