About the Role:
Cinnamon Care's 60-bedded care home in Eastleigh is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care and support for families.

Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating resident assessments, managing medication administration, and recruiting staff. Additionally, you will provide coaching and support to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants to maintain high standards of care. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in long-term care or a similar industry, who can bring their expertise to this role.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate resident assessments to identify needs and preferences.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Provide coaching and support to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants to maintain high standards of care.
  • Manage medication administration processes, implementing robust auditing procedures.
  • Recruit and train staff through the Cinnamon process, managing contracted hours and monitoring recruitment needs.
  • Communicate effectively with family members regarding resident needs and progress, maintaining open channels of communication.

Essential Requirements:
  • NVQ 3 qualification in care.
  • Minimum two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care delivery.

Competitive Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, based on experience.
