Job Overview

Nursery Preschool Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Preschool Manager to lead our 45-place nursery preschool. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on management style, experience of assisting in managing Ofsted Inspections, and excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily running and administration of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulatory requirements, and partnering with parents. They will also be responsible for staff recruitment, induction, ongoing supervisions, and conducting regular staff assessments.

The Nursery Preschool Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the daily running and administration of the nursery
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulatory requirements
  • Partnering with parents
  • Staff recruitment, induction, and ongoing supervisions
  • Conducting regular staff assessments
  • Organising regular staff meetings and training
  • Working with the EYFS Curriculum
  • Supervising the planning and preparation of activities
  • Ensuring developmental records and observations are kept
  • Ensuring staff adhere to and understand all nursery policy and procedures
  • Administration and finance of all nursery activities
  • Maintaining staff ratios
  • Keeping and monitoring accident, incident, and risk assessment records

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
