About The Job
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our passionate team at The Barn Nursery School. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to delivering the EYFS across the 3 prime and 4 specific areas of learning.
Role Overview
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work closely with our experienced and professional team to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 2 years 6 months to 5 years. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities, promoting learning and development, and building strong relationships with children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the EYFS across the 3 prime and 4 specific areas of learning.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities, promoting learning and development.
- Build strong relationships with children and their families.
- Contribute to a caring, creative environment, helping young children thrive.
Requirements
- Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience of working in an Early Years setting or ability to demonstrate relevant skills and interest.
- Good safeguarding knowledge and understanding of everyone's responsibility to actively promote the health, safety, and welfare of all children.
- Dedication, passion, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
What We Offer
- Option of working 30 hours (5 days), 24 hours (4 days) or 16 hours (3 days) per week.
- Up to £17 per hour dependent on qualification and experience.
- Additional monthly key person payment, additional key responsibility payments.

Working Arrangements
The Barn Nursery School operates from a former village school in the village of Wootton St Lawrence, providing a unique and nurturing environment for our children to grow and develop.
Our nursery is located in the middle of a small village, surrounded by fields, offering a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and learn.
