Geography Teacher Wanted for Thriving Secondary School

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging geography lessons to students of all abilities, covering topics from physical landscapes to human geography.
  • Equip students with the tools to understand the world around them, promoting a love for geography and a deeper understanding of the subject.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective geography curriculum, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and field trips, promoting a sense of community and shared purpose.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and technologies, integrating modern tools and cross-curricular themes into your teaching practice.
Requirements:
  • A recognized teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE) with a specialism in Geography or a related field.
  • Experience teaching geography to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with a track record of delivering strong results.
  • A passion for geography and the ability to make topics relevant and exciting for today's learners.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents, and staff alike.
