Job Overview

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is working in collaboration with Adult Social Care across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland to deliver our Home First service offer alongside core Community Therapy. We have an exciting opportunity for newly qualified occupational therapists, student occupational therapists, or developing Band 5 occupational therapists to contribute to our team.

This is a great time to be joining the service, which brings together an integrated health and social care offer delivered by community-based nursing, therapy, and adult social care teams. As an occupational therapist in this role, you will have the opportunity to use your therapy skills to:

  • Support individuals to remain in their homes when they are experiencing a health or social care crisis, rather than requiring hospitalization or residential care.
  • Help individuals recover and regain their health, wellbeing, and independence after hospitalization.
  • Deliver high-quality core therapy reablement, rehabilitation, and recovery to individuals within their own homes.

We are looking for dedicated and self-motivated individuals who can make a difference to the care of patients and promote therapy services within the trust.
