Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Quality Control Engineer to join our team at CV Library in the role of Field Quality Engineer.

This dynamic field-based position involves monitoring and analysing field claims, assisting with repairs in dealer workshops, and collaborating closely with international teams. You will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicle quality and customer satisfaction.

About the Role:
  1. You will need to have/be a minimum technician level with knowledge & experience of motor vehicle high voltage systems.
  2. High vehicle repair knowledge, experience, and technical ability are essential for this role.
  3. SOME QC EXPERIENCE WOULD BE DESIRABLE.
  4. You should have analytical problem-solving skills.
  5. You will need to be able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  6. A driving licence (class B) and good PC knowledge (MS Office) are required.
  7. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks, are necessary.
  8. Flexibility to adjust/adapt starting and finishing working time by request/need is also required.
  9. You should have good relationship building skills with customers and partners.
Details:
  1. Salary: £35,000 + £1,610 lunch allowance (in addition to basic salary) + company car.
  2. Working Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday.
  3. Location: Field based around Nottingham, Lincoln, and Grimsby.
  4. Duration: Permanent.
Responsibilities:
  1. Handle communication and reporting within the organization and with external partners (customers, HQ, European partners).
  2. Conduct on-site visits to dealers for part issue analysis.
  3. Visit local suppliers for quality inspections and audits.
  4. Analyse local claim parts.
  5. Monitor daily for potential or existing quality issues.
  6. Identify cost-saving opportunities from claim data.
