Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic solicitor with a strong background in private client law, particularly in mental health and welfare. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of private client work within the department, representing clients in private client legal matters.
  • Manage a caseload of private client cases, including financial deputyship and health and welfare deputyship applications.
  • Assist clients with Court of Protection applications for personal welfare deputyships.
  • Manage files effectively, including costs and time recording.
  • Visit clients, some of whom lack capacity.
Requirements
  • Broad, well-established background in private client law.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law.
  • Minimum of 3 years PQE.
  • Professional, pro-active approach with excellent client care skills and the ability to handle client matters sensitively.
