A Culinary Artist is required to create exceptional food experiences for Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a key team member, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. The role requires strong culinary skills, menu planning experience, and excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets client expectations
- Overseeing menu planning and implementation
- Identifying opportunities to improve food services
- Listening and acting on customer feedback to enhance food quality
- Supporting with new menu creation and innovative food concepts
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
- Ensuring compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations
- Must be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
- Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Have experience supervising a team
- Experience in a similar Chef role
- Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
- Flexible approach to working
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
