Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at Arden Wood Shaving. As a HGV Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering animal bedding products from wood bi-products using a HGV Class 1 Type Vehicle. The ideal candidate will have a valid full category Class 1/HGV C+E licence, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Completing deliveries and wagon drag duties using a HGV Class 1 Type Vehicle.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Working flexible hours with 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and management.

Salary and Benefits: The hourly rate for this position is £15.11 per hour, plus overtime Monday to Friday, and every other Saturday (if required). A Saturday rate of £22.66 applies. Additionally, we offer CPC training for our drivers.
