CNC Machinist Position

We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's production team in Westbury.

The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating various machinery, including Bridgeport work centres, mills, Takisawa lathes, and Charmilles wire erosion equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring parts are manufactured in line with the production plan and quality policy, and will be expected to maintain 5S and TPM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate machinery to produce high-quality components.
• Manufacture suitable tooling and jigging to achieve maximum efficiency in production.
• Set and operate ancillary measuring equipment, such as talysurfs and micrometres, to test components for conformity to requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC machining and programming.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the production team.
