Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading lectures and seminars in Sociology, fostering a culture of academic inquiry and critical thinking.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff members in their professional development.
  • Contributing to curriculum development and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Sociology or a related field, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification, and a minimum of 5 years' experience teaching Sociology in a primary or secondary school setting.

A competitive salary package includes an estimated £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
